Hi all, I was driving along the other day and the "STOP" warning came on followed by "Low Oil Pressure". I pulled over to check the oil level and all was ok. I carried on (had to I was taking my daughter to the airport) and as long as i kept the speed down and low RPM all was ok. I have done a little research and it seems to be a well known problem of a build up of sludge in the sump/oil pick up strainer and its pipe. I have tried an "off the shelf" engine flush changed the oil & filter but still the same although the warning comes on at a higher speed what do I need to do to remedy this and how difficult is it. Many Thanks to all

You need to remove the sump and clean the oil pump strainer, depends on which engine you have on how big a job it is,but fairly straight forward work,no matter the engine type
