Hello all, wasn't sure whether to post this here or in Cab forum...

    59000 miles, 04 model, multitronic.

    FASH.

    2 previous owners.

The car is from a dealer.

If anyone here could help me with what I should be checking for that would be great. Is it worth getting an AA/RAC check?

    Any help appreciated!

It's due a cambelt and waterpump change.
Check to see if the gearbox has been serviced, due a fluid change at 40K

    I like the interior.
Contact Audi CS,0800 699 888 give them the reg No and they will tell you what options are fitted and confirm the service history.

I'm now the proud owner of an A4 1.8t Cabriolet!

    It's beautiful.

Drives really smooth, very comfortable too.

    Hey.

I've read your comments about performance and understand them, but remember I came from a 1.6 Golf, so I'm happy with what the 1.8t can do, even if it does have to work hard. Took it for a drive today and it was really smooth and solid, not earth shattering but I'm not a very fast driver so it felt good. The turbo comes in pretty late, but I expected that. I got a good deal price wise.

It's resonable on the insurance too (I lost my no-claims last year).

It's a multitronic and I did as much research as I could and knew what I was possibly entering into.

So far (admittedly only one day!) there are no problems with shifting, no judders and no peculiar engine idling.

I'll prob keep this for 1-2 years and think I'll plump for the AA's warranty product, they cover everything (including the CVT box) for up to £3k and it'll cost me £5 per week... If anyone knows anything about those types of product that I should be aware of pls let me know!

Anyway, I've got my first Audi and I hope it will bring me much joy.

On the prettiness stakes, I think mine would give yours a good run for its money!

Dark blue exterior and cream leather seats is such a good look...

I'll take some nice pics when the weather improves.

    Thanks all!

    Shook,
That is some very, very nice looking motor car, bonnie lad.
    ( bonnie lad,----who am i trying to kid )
beautiful,to say the least, absolutely fabulous looking.
can't comment on performance, other than once changed from a sierra 2.0i gls,
(it was nicked and written off), to a grandad 2.0gl .
the granada was a lovely car,but a totally different drive to the same engine in the sierra.
any way.i'd give my left arm to have such a motor car(don't do much with it anyway ha ha)
Shook, enjoy it, it's bloody lovely mate.
    regards,
    stewy.

    Thanks!

I'm really happy with it. I've never had a 'posh' car before. Funny how wanting such a thing creeps up on you...

    Still can't believe it's mine!
