2500 miles on the clock and my oil reader is getting ever closer to "min". Are others seeing there oil level drop rapidly? Have been told this is normal in a brand new car.

Any views on what is the best/most reasonable top up oil to purchase. If so where from?

Looking for info on petrol 2.0 TFSI in particular. Would appreciate confirmation of what rating should be used and what brand of oil others are using?

    Cheers

Didn't you get a bottle of oil when you picked the car up?

Mine was (is) in the boot, waiting for the car to need some. As to the recommended oil, I seem to recall there was a thread on here a week or so ago about it. Can't remember much except it was expensive, even when bought cheaply

had the same issue at 6000km. Dealer said the turbo needs oil to cool off. Will need more oil for frequent short distance rides

They should all come with a litre of `Top-Up` oil in boot from being PDI`d.Unless the dealer is being a bit tight!
