I think the next time one is behind me on a single carriageway I'm just gonna pull over so he don't hit me. I wouldn't want to go 50/50 on insurance.

I think the point was, he initially listed about three items that needed replacing. (Not through any fault of his own, not having the invoice.)

Now that we can see there are 12 items that needed replacing, plus labour and transport....

I don't see that as entirely unbelieveable. Bearing in mind that it has to be an approved garage doing the work so they can charge a slight markup, I guess it's possible that he might have got it done cheaper elsewhere, but would YOU take your supercar anywhere other than the very best?

Heck, I take the Golf to the main dealer and gladly pay more just for the peace of mind!

I wouldn't expect to pay £11,000 for a Golf mind, but if you told me £1000 I wouldn't be surprised for similar damage.

    Supercars are delicate things.

Mrs Gallucci originally booked a Lamborghini Gallardo for their big weekend over a year ago, but weeks before the wedding the specialist car hire firm said the vehicle was double-booked. The only other car they had available was the Murciélago LP640 at a cost of £8,000, of which £5,000 was a deposit to cover the insurance excess, which the couple have now lost.

I love the where, in the update piece, it says that Nissan have given him a jacket to make up for all the trouble. A Nissan jacket! Classic.
