I test drove two GT one with and one without Adaptive Chassis Control, it just happened that afterward they were parked next to each other. The car with ACC had a slighty higher road height of the standard GT. I pointed this out to the Sales Reps but he could not really explain the different.

The GT with ACC was parked in comfort mode at the time. So not sure if that made a different?

Anyone measured their cars to see if the road height on the GT with ACC is the same as a standard GT?

Yes. Sports suspension just means shorter springs and dampers to match them. The suspension linkages and overall architecture remain the same.

18" wheels on my GT and the roads are bad around here and nobody that has been in the car has ever mentioned the ride quality to me.

Its obviously a personal thing but I think the ride quality is perfectly balanced. Not too stiff and not too bouncy. I'm really glad I went for the 18" wheels as it makes a big difference to the look of the car, in my view.
