    Hi

I am currently trying to clean the MAF on my 1.9TDI A4 and am having difficulty getting to the sensor. I have removed the whole unit and sprayed cleaner on it but this has not worked. In order to get near the sensor i need to unscrew two star screws. I have tried torx screwdrivers but none seem to be the correct size.

Got me thinking as to whether there are specific tools to unscrew 'odd sized' Audi screws.

Does anyone think that any of the bits in this set would work?

In the comments someone mentions using it on their Audi so that's what has made me consider it.

    Thanks

If they are security bits, they should do the job

They are tamper proof torx screws, there is a central pin in the centre of the star shaped hole in the screw, the one's you need will have corresponding hole in the tool. I got a set of six for a couple of quid. just checked your link, there the ones!

Cheers. Ordered the Draper set so hopefully the right one will be in the set.
