As the title suggests really. I was driving down the motorway today and it had been raining so there was quite a bit of spray around. I was driving a shade over 80mph (tut tut I know) and felt little droplets of water on my right hand. I looked to see little droplets of water on my dash and the pillar to the right of the dash. When I slowed it didn't happen.

I think there must be a small hole in the seal on the bottom of the windscreen.

Anyone else had anything similar and found a solution??

    Any help much appreciated.

If you can pin point the exact spot where the leak is coming from, you can seal it with a sealing compound

Cheers kenney, I had thought of that, but as it only happens when i'm going quite fast it is difficult to locate. I'll have to take the missus out and give her a fright!

What I was also worried about is whether the water would be leaking where i can't see. Possibly corroding or getting into the electrics. I'm probably worrying too much!!!

Seal the full bottom lenght of the windscreen,i don't think there is the possibility of any electric damage,i would be more concerned about corrosion.

All you need is a sealant cartrage,a sealant gun.and masking tape and a steady hand.If you have access to a compressor, apply the compressed air along the bottom of the wind screen, and you will see where the leak is.

Try using a hosepipe to pinpoint the exact area the sealant has failed.
