    Exclamation MK4 Golf Heated mirrors do not work – 09-11-2009,04:04 PM
    I have a Mk4 Golf 2003 with the Winter pack. I do not know why the heated wing mirrors do not heat up - the electric motor works as they can both move - but annoyingly on a cold or frosty day the mirros do not heat up. I cant find a code for it - what could it be

    Can anyone help?

    To make them work, you have to put the rear window de-mister on.

    Also if you are doing that, then check the fuse.

    On mine i have a Heated mirror option on my window adjuster. Also mine do not work but they flag up on fault code scans as being faulty. Prob due to the fact its easy to forget you have left them on!
