    Evening all.

Last night sat in the endless traffic in stafford, my 2001 2.0s began to misfire. no engine management light on. I stopped the engine for 5 mins(while collecting my sone from nursery) turned the ignition one, engine management light in. Had green flag come out, ht lead knackered. Replaced ht leads and spark plugs today, evering fine. Got in the car to come home, engine management light flashing, engine misfiring, drinking fuel.

    Any ideas.

I'd say the 1st thing to do is have a fault code read, could be a number of things, coil packs spring to mind.
Nothing to see here, move along..

I would say coil pack(s) too...from recent experience of one of mine packing up! Stopped for fuel, and when re-starting car, a coil pack went. Very lumpy misfiring, and engine management light on. I thought the car was gonna fall apart, the amount it was shaking! Anyway, got coil pack changed for £30
