I need to replace a parking sensor, and therefor I need to get the rear bumper off.

I've followed this park sensor retrofit DIY to get the bumper off: http://www.tyresmoke.net/forum/audi-...tallation.html

But the friggin bumper won't come loose!

I noticed there were some differences to my car.. is the DIY for a B6? There are only two screws on the outer edge in my car.. not three as the DIY mentions. Am I missing something?

    Never mind!

I just didn't realize how hard you'd have to pull on the sides to get it loose. Was afraid to break the bumper. Nice to have working parking sensors again.

For anyone else with a B7 wondering about the DIY - there's only four screws on each side inside the car compared to the DIYs five.

I also changed to winter tires before I did the parking sensor - just in time, it began snowing a couple of hours ago. Winter wonderland. Oh well, gonna enjoy the quattro.
