My alarm is going off all the time, I already removed the sounder so no sound but my battery keeps going flat due to the lights flashing. I don't want to leave it unlocked all the time - does anyone know how I can disable the alarm?

If I go to Audi they are going to start chargin me an arm and a leg to investigate every sensor known to man. The car is only worth £2K so I could do without spending half its value in repairing this...

If you can get someone with a vagcom to overide the alarm that would work. They would just disable it.

Where in VAG-COM can you do that? I have a shareware version but can't see anywhere to do it?

It escapes me exactly. I am mostly sure it is in the convenience module.

    Hi there,
First read the fault codes to see why the alarm is going off.

or try this link, have a good read first and write down old codes just in case you have to re-enter them. You have to add or subtract values for your model car
    Good Luck
