My son is away for the weekend in his Audi A3 3.2 Quattro and his engine check light has come on and it won't run above 40 mph. I'm guessing that is limp mode. Anyone got any suggestions?

    Cheers

Any other symptoms? Its needs the fault codes reading, could be one of many things causing the problem.

Thanks for the replies guys, he's away at his girlfriends for the weekend so no way of checking the codes till Monday. He's had it stall on him at lights a couple of times recently but no other lights or symptoms till now.

I can't get through to him to check if it resets

    Cheers
