Hi - First post in this forum

Used to have a Mk2 8v GTI but traded it in for a 1.9 TDi Touran! and I thought that I'd be better off for wear and tear but.....

My front tyres are wearing heavily on the inboard edges - a friend of mine has had exactly the same problem - apparently his tracking was out. Anyone else out there had similar?

You'll need to take it to a VW dealer to realign the tracking, kwik-fat don't have the necessary gear to do it. (Other generic tyre fitting companies don't either)

Have still got the same Touran, 3 year on, it is heavy on front tyres - I still get wear on the inside edges first - heavy front end is probably to blame. Has anyone else found that VW are the only outfit who can do tracking?
