As you may know, the 'attraction' version doesn't have the armrest as standart equipment. But its possible to add it to the car configuration when you buy your sb. The problem seems to be if you wish to add it after you buy the car whitout it, because audi now asks about 1000 euros for it, claiming they're required to change the entire central console.

I've seen other a3 with the armrest, and the central console is pretty mutch equal to mine, at least in terms of handbrake and gear shifter.

My question is: is there any alternative? Maybe install a generic armrest in this car? A 'do-it-yourself' kind of solution?

    Thanks.

    Regards,
