Whats the difference on the engine on the 115Bhp and the 150Bhp is it just something like the size of the turbo or are they completely different??

Indeed, none of them that have different engine codes are the same. Some are more different than others. My 130BHP AVF is the same as the other 130, but has a bigger clutch. If you are thinking of upping the power of a TDI, the 130 is the best place to start (apart from 150 obviously!) as it has much stronger components.

Ron i'm sure its a pd motor and not the ve like our's.......a re-map /chip should get you to around a 170hp and if you want more than that you are going to have to change your turbo to either a vnt1852/56 or a vnt2056 / vnt2059....which should bag you around the 210hp after a re-map of course.

If I was to up my power to 185 on from 130, I would be at real risk of blowing up various parts of the engine, or destroying the clutch. As I have said, the 115 is not as tough as the 130 or 150, which have different components. I wouldn't go past 170 from a 115, and then you'd be pushing it. If you go for 200 as suggested you can expect a very rapid bang.
A remap to 160 would be quite sensible, depending on the age/condition of engine/clutch.
