    Default Where is the Water drain hole – 26-10-2009,08:28 PM
    I have a build up of water just underneath the pollen filter Where is the water drain hole as it is bunged up no doubt?

    beneath the battery tray and also check the grommet surround for the clutch hydraulic pipe besides the servo
    vag diagnostics, retrofits and general repairs

    Yes.. and the best tool to un-bung grommet is one of your pinkies!

    It's a real pig to get the battery out.. you need a really long allen key (preferably with a rounded end) to undo the bolt & retaining bracket. The longest allen keys Halfords sell aren't quite long enough - I got my set from B&Q and even then, it's only just long enough!

    a8_tech - do Audi workshops have an especially long one just for the job? (allen keys, not pinkies) LOL!
