    Hi all,
    My first post.
Driving in to work this morning another driver smashed my right side door mirror, it has smashed the glass and the casing so I need to replace the complete unit, two questions:-

    1) Where is the best place to purchase from, I found this website - http://www.wingmirrorman.co.uk/?gcli...FQ003godXxZgJw
are they any good or does anyone know of anywhere better.

    2) How easy are they to fit, can I do it myself, I am quite competent, if so any sites with intructions.

    thanks
    Nick

Thank you, but unfortunately the casing is broken as well, so I have to replace the complete unit. I can get one for £94.99 from wingmirrorman.co.uk fully painted.
I have been quoted £231 by a local garage for the complete job (supply and fit) so would like to have a go myself.
Anyone know of a similiar site that will show how to fit a complete unit not just the glass.
    thanks in advance
    Nick

Fitting door mirrors is usually a case of removing the interior trim panel, undo a few bolts, unplug the wiring, refit the new one.

You could try posting this question in the Audi A4 section (include the year and model), where an experienced A4 owner should be able to help you.
