bose or not bose

How can I tell if my b5 has bose system ? It has no obvious markings but the sound quality seems better than in my b6 which is standard factory fit non bose

also can they be swapped ?

your speakers should say bose on them, ie on the outside door trim, also when you turn on the stereo, it should say 'bose'


what year and tye of stereo?

its a 99 face lift with an audi concert head unit. It doesnt say bose anywhere but sounds far better than my b 6 with standard kit in it.

In fact I think the finish in the b5 is nicer all round than the b 6
