Hi- I was stripping the passenger door to fix a broken window regulator. I removed the old regulator panel and reconnected the electrics to the lock. I shut the door and now I can't get it open again. Any ideas?

I was taking the car in to get the brake servo replaced when the regulator snapped. you gotta laugh.

I have just spent an hour in the sun working on the door. I re attached the window motor to the wiring loom on the door, locked the door and the re opened it with the key fob. Problem solved. It seems that the window winder motor completes the circuit to the passenger lock and also door mirror. Simple in hindsight but these things are sent to try us.
