Hi everyone, I've recently taken delivery of 2008 S-line saloon. I've always wanted an Audi and having had Vauxhalls all my motoring life, I saved up enough to splash out. To say I'm pleased with the car is an understatement!

Not planning to do too much to the car (yet), but I 'm considering Bluefin and tinting the back windows.

However, I managed to order a s-line badge from the local dealers (came with the bulldog clips), but I can't for the life of me suss out how to attach it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Loving the forum.

Congrats fergal on the new purchase.

I ordered a badge from local dealer for the grill and have the same prob.

However..........The badge I have is located on a black backing and has 4 'prongs' sticking out at the back, which I guess yours has.

The ones which the folk on here have been getting from ebay look like they have 'a bit' sticking out at the back with a slot in it to slide over the 2nd upright on the grill.

I am ordering one of ebay now to try.

Hope this helps......anyone confirm what I have said????

    Yes!

I ordered one off the ebay link giev on here, and has a flat ledge coming off the back, which just sits ontop of the 2ns grill slot..... the metal clips then clip over this ledge and the back of the grill.

If you have 4 prongs...... I don't see how it will fit!!

    Thanks for that.

Looks like I'll need to go down the Ebay route.

Do you happen to have the link for one?

    Cheers

So could it be that Audi have in stock and are supplying B7 S Line grill badges. It would make sense that they have these in stock but not ones for the B8 because it never came with them.

Did Audi say it would fit? Can you take it back? How is the grill different on the B8 do you think?

Bought one of ebay recently from Germany. Genuine Audi part but still a bit pricey at £15...! Had a quattro before and liked the badge on the grill
Anyway, when it arrived couldn't see how it would fit, but after looking at a Quattro today in a showroom, soon had it fitted

Mine is Ice Silver, and really like it as it adds colour to the front end. (Red breaks up the silver/black)

    Photos to follow

    Hi All

is there a way to install this badge without removing the entire grill or do i just have to bite the bullet here, I purchased my grill badge from amazon and it's the type with the slot in the back that sits well in the correct place, however after a quick inspection (all be it in the dark) it appears that the only way to get the clips in the back is by removing the entire grill.... am i missing something or is this the way it needs to be done?

    Thanks

No panic it is an easy fit with the grill in place.
