Thanks for the info on fitting the bluetooth, can I ask who supplied the unit? I am waiting for my CC and have been looking on ebay.

    Hi, how are you doing?
This is the ebay OEM bluetooth that I bought here. They will accept an offer of £300 (maybe even less).

Instructions are a bit thin on the ground but I can help you if you need help. You can also contact them directly. I called them twice and they sorted me out. Once was for a replacement mic and the other was for a new loom.

I mentioned briefly above about getting a replacment loom.
This was due to the original being snapped when someone moved the passenger seat right back. There was very little play on the mic cable and it pulled both cores inside the outer insulation.
I received a new loom and I have relocated the module to the space behind the 'D' shaped panel you see on the side of the dash when you open the passengers door.
It is a very tight fit and you have to modify the loom connector.
    Pictures to follow.

    Hi eob,

I managed to get hold of a unit from Poland on ebay. www_carsystems_pl. Should give me full integration with the head unit. My car should be delivered next week, seems there are alot of VW's hitting the UK this week. Once I get it I'll see if I'm brave enough to try and fit it myself. May see how much the place you went to in EK want to do the job

The Polish kit you have will probably be the same Skoda kit that I got. The only give away *may* be that it shows up as "Skoda BT" when you connect with your phone. My phone allows me to rename connections so no worries there.

How are you getting on with the parking sensors? I have the same local dealer as you went to and I have a CC on order with the rear view camera, but have been wondering if I should not add rear sensors as well. If I do decide it would be them that I would get to do the work, so just a little curious as to how you find them.

Yes, they are fine. Took a couple of weeks to put my faith in them but they are just as good as the OEM ones I had in my saloon. Only thing is that they are not flush with the bumper but not too noticable.

They are pretty accurate too. No false returns or anything.
The following picture shows the distance as soon as the beep goes constant.

I'd say go for them. The CC is a pig to park so couple with your rev camera you should have no problems.

Thanks, that helps me make up my mind, I'm going to try the Rev Camera to start with but if I I still not comfortable will get the dealer to fit some sensors..

Oh well only another month or so to wait.

This is going to be a coding issue, you have to tell the steering wheel that you have push to talk.

Here are the coding values that I used.
