Footwell lights

The footwell lights on my GT TDI 140 stay on constantly when the lights are on. I find it distracting and would like them off when driving. I only picked the car up yesterday afternoon but can't find any reference to them (so far) in the manual. Any ideas? GT TDI 140 DSG, ACC, Convenience pack, Sun roof, Park sensors, RCD 510, Storage Pack, Winter Pack.

you control it from the MDF- under "lights and vision" you can control the dimming or switch off

Thank you. I got some funny looks in the car park this morning - previous car was a 5-Series. I'm so looking forward to laughing at all the Beemer drivers the next time we have snow!
