Hi, I have the following faults on my A4 1.9tdi 05 plate at 60,00 miles on the clock

Two faults that i had for Audi to check out were
    1) Air bag warning light permanently on & Red - Audi Findings "require wiring repair to drivers side airbag igniter. Parts £17.00, Labour £140 ( 2hrs)
Question:- does this seem as major a job as they make out?

    2) Cruise control not working - Audi findings: Require clutch pedal switch - parts £10.87, Labour £70 ( 1 hr ).

Question: i have had a look and can see the switch i think that requires changing ( above clutch pedal) - is there anything majorly technical in changing this ?
