Does anyone know if it's possible and how to connect a VW/Audi CD changer with the 12 pin rectangular plug to the 13 pin round plug on a 98 A4 (concert)? The changer looks the same and is by Matsushita.

Also any ideas where there is an easy place to tap off some 12v power for a road angel (other than the lighter socket!)

    Thanks

    Cliff

They will work (essentially the same unit) , but I'm not aware of any adapter that will allow you to simply plug it in.

If you get really stuck and are OK at dismantling things I may be able to supply the correct lead that comes out of the unit for you to swap over.

    Hi Froggy,

Thanks for the reply. I'm an electronics engineer so if you are sure they are compatible software wise then I'm up for connecting the two together. If you can supply the female round din style connector I would be most grateful.

    cheers

    Cliff
