    Hi,
I have a 2.8 quattro A4 which from the day I have bought it never questioned it's performance. Until last weekend when I had a 2.4 quattro leave me standing. The 2.4 was only two years newer than mine but should it really be that much faster? Also is the any parts that can be changed to improve performance? As I want to make some changes before I get the old girl re mapped.
    Thanks

We have 2 in the family. Asuming the car is in a good mechanical state of repair. Start with performance panel filter and cat-back exhaust. made a noticeable difference compared to jumping in the standard version. MPG didnt change apart from wanting to hear the v6 roar to much.....Which made it drop!!!
Let us know how you get on.

    Hi,
I've had a custom stainless cat back exhaust made for mine, gonna get a new filter this weekend. Going to get a friend to check out my car on his laptop after I replace the filter, hopefully there won't be any fault codes.
Thanks for the reply and I'll post any findings.
