Member Locations

Hello all,
here's an idea I blatently nicked from UKPassats.co.uk.

It's a Google Maps showing all the VWAudi Forum Member locations.

I've set it up so anyone can edit it to add their location. Probably keep it generic to Towns, Villages and Cities.

Step 1.
Click 'Save to my maps' link.


Step 2.
This will take you to the Google sign in page. If you don't have a Google account you wil have to sign up.

Step 3.
Click the 'Edit' button to add your location.


Step 4.
Right click on your chosen location and select 'Add Placemark'

Step 5.
Enter a bit about yourself, be as creative as you want. Reading the Google help seems to suggest that you can add pictures and even video.


Step 6.
Hit the 'Save' button followed by the 'Done' button and thats it.


Waddya reckon? Fancy a punt?

Maybe if it's popular the mods could add it as a button on the forum header like on UKPassats?
