A4 Avant - audi uk head office registration

I live in surrey so was surprised to see one parked up next to me. It was a basic SE avant. However I noticed on the registration that the car was registered to audi (UK), milton Keynes.

My question is, who would own that car? Salesman in the regional area (company car) or someone from the head office?

When I was looking at options for my next company car, Leaseplan arranged (among others) a test drive of an A6. The car that arrived had Audi UK plates - and that was delivered to me at work in Manchester.

Could just be another tester?

I understand that Audi runs a large Fleet of business demonstrators and press cars (operated through a Fleet Management Co) - the one I had was OY registered and these end up in the dealerships after 3-6 months as Audi Approved.

My A4 Avant was supplied with Audi (UK) Milton Keynes plates as a private sale and picked up from there HQ due to dealership problems.
