    i'm looking to buy a catalyst for a4 audi and most dealers i call are selling ceramic cats as appose to steel cats, so i was wondering is there really nuch difference other than price? 1 salesman said steel cats use up more fuel. audi want £480 + vat where as www.catsandcarbs.co.uk want £128 all in. thanx for reading.

    From what I've read there is no presivable difference.....bar cost!!!

    When I bought mine i just went on price and used a trusted source for the part.
