Hi. I have a 1993 90 CS 2.8 that keeps blowing the fuel pump fuse. I had it worked on and they said the fuel relay was shorting and that it was fixed, however, it is still blowing the fuse. It only happens when I let the clutch out in first gear. I spoke with the Audi dealer in my area, and they too were stumped. Any suggestions?
    Thanks!

It sounds like as soon as the pump is worked a bit it fails. If the relay has been replaced it can only be wiring or the pump itself.

I went through a similar problem on a completely different car. In that case it was the fuse box itself.

Don't know the cost of a fuel pump but personally I would replace that if you are sure they have replaced the relay.
    One German, Two Italian.
    It's a Mercedes Benzzzz though
