Hi, I am looking for help with Manual Key Synchronization for an 02 Passat. No water in passenger floor pan, keyfob battery changed within 60s, no difference. Fuel flap will not open electronically, boot will not open electronically, car will not lock with keyfob, only by manually using key. Need to synchronize key with car. All help appreciated.

Lack of remote locking, boot failure and fuel flap failure all suggest ccm problem. I would have a look. Unwrap the wires and check soldered joints. Dampness over a period of time can rot the copper wires even though the carpets seem dry. There is a lock sync guide on here somewhere. do a search.

    Hi
Sounds very much like a ccm problem or wiring to it.

Check the wires in the nearside rear footwell, there will be a cluster of wires and they corrod if you have had a water leak at any stage in its life.Very common with Skoda Superbs, same car different jelly mould!!!!!
