I totally agree - and try to deal with cash only! Also, get a marker pen that checks the notes! A lot of sellers are so eager to sell their cars that they don't always check the money they are given and only realise when the bank keeps it and won't give it you back

Had the same thing from a guy in Norway made out he worked in a mine and he learned his trade from his dad who was welsh and dug coal for a living. Best thing to do is just say in the advert no scamming gits or the polite way no overseas buyers. I also been tried to be scammed by people on ebay. You could always sell it to me for 50p at least you would get to see the money
