    Default VWt5 Power loss at 2000rpm – 30-09-2009,12:44 AM
    I have a 53 plate VW t5 2.5tdi, all running fine but when going up a slight hill lost a lot of power like I as in the wrong the gear, changed down and made no difference. Got to the top of the slight hill and engine won't rev above 2000rpm, when engine speed picks up the engine judders like a speed limiter has kicked in! Hoping it's not the turbo!!!

    Going into dealers tomorrow if i can get it there, looking for some info up front so no surprises from dealer.

    Appreciate any pointers!

    AA came out to recover and guy checked out AFM on the turbo, made no difference when unplugged which then pointed at the turbo being u/s. VW dealer confirmed and about £1800 to replace and fit.
