A80 2.6E Cabriolet power steering noise

Can anyone tell me where the top up is for the power steering pump on the V6 engine?
Also, is there a special fluid that is needed, and what it is called?

I have noticed drips of fluid on the garage floor for a while, and now there is a loud whining noise which appears to come from the front of the engine, when the steering is moved, and I guess its the pump.

Just for the benefit of others, I have sourced the resevoir for the fluid-directly behind the battery. Should have looked a bit harder. Topping up with the correct (green) mineral VAG fluid solved the probelm entirely, and stopped a flashing warning light at top of dash which I always understood only showed low brake pads/fluid.
All I have to do is source where the fluid is leaking from, which I am told is probably seals on the steering rack.
