Am attempting to service 1.6 16v AUS engine code myself and noticied that there is a lot of oil in the air filter housing (around the butterfly valve) - it hasn't gone onto the paper element of the filter but is running around the rubber gasket.

Is this 'normal'? If not, any ideas for what the problem may be?

Care doens't appear to be using any oil.

    Thanks

    R
