    Default mk2 gti 16v fuel problem – 28-09-2009,11:10 PM
    Hi there,could anyone help me with a fuel problem on my gti 16v,i recently had a fuel leak from the fuel pump (outside of the tank pump),i removed and cleaned all and found it was just an o-ring.refitted all and now car starts, but seems to cut out and misfire badly when trying to throttle, possible air lock? or not possible?car drove perfect before i touched the pump.sorry for the essay many thanks in advance for any info!

    just to say it was a fuel filter causing the problem.must of been a fuel blockage.for anyone in the future,this could be of some help.
