    Can any of you guys tell me why my air metre paddle drops instead of rising on start up ? cant get her to fire up, been on it for weeks now and still no joy, its a 8v 1.8 k jet gti, thanks fellas.

    has it got a air dump valve on the side of the intake belows? if it has check it as its a overun cut off valve they create a massive air leak on overun to drop the airflow sensor plate to save fuel
