A3 service

Just joined this site so be gentle! I have just bought 2.0L FSI petrol A3. It was last serviced on 19/01/06 @ 36,246 1 year and 4 months ago. If I pull the knob on the dash the display says 150 miles before next service due which would be an interim one. Apart from the obvious items like oil & filter what else needs to be done. I know that when it had it's last service in Jan 06 it had the brake fluid changed along with spark plugs etc so that was quite a big service. The second question is do I have a choice as to what engine oil I go for i.e. the long life version or the ordinary one. I personally think that 16 months is a heck of a long time for a car to go without being touched, or is this not unusual

hi mate,
The long life oil is designed to last up to 20k depending on driving style, its good stuff, thats why its so darn expensive! lol
