my fault, i only mentioned them as they are handy in off road racers. they are very strong and very plentiful as there are loads of beemers in scrap yards, due to the poor build quality that lets them rust, and people cant be bothered to repair them, because theyre not worth repairing.awful cars, imho, but the diffs are good.

lol, never owned myself, obviously, but I personally quite like them, they are one of the few manufacturers out there who still make rear wheel drive driving machines primarily and the majoritory of them have good performance and comfort. Now, I agree with you if you are talking about the new ones, the styling is god awful and I dont think all the stupidly over complicated computing power in the world can match upto the raw egineered brilliance of their older models like the old M5's ad such. In fact, even if I had a VR6, if I was offered a swap of that for a very good example of the old M5, I wouldnt thik twice.

However, the interiors seem to be dreadful no matter what era they are from. My friends 3 series convertible with all the mods has got the M3 dash ad stuff in and it still looks less well built and designed than my most basic mk3 golf interior.

Im glad I never asked what you guys would think of sticking a BMW engine in it instead of a VR6 now haha.

Evil people, Glas, Borgward, Rover all burnt out shells in their wake, Quandt's, bad faith, terrible WWII war record, the people who drive them, no indicators function, knobs in control, hate and scorn poured on them!!! Perusing a model store today on a little trip to Mr Robbie Williams home town (www.emodels.co.uk) the wife pulled a box off the shelf declaring the model as an interesting build, no flamin way, it was a Wehrmacht, B*W R12 bike!!!! ARghhh, divorce papers in the post!

If you know anything about football, imagine it this way. This fourm is a pub full of West Ham fans, then someone walk in and says, "I think Millwall are a good side..."

Kind of the same effect as saying you like BMW's on here
