Got to agree with BigCol on the Autosol I ve used it for years on my cars and my motorbike it brings them up a nice and shiny ( I do get some funny looks from the neighbours sitting buffing up the tail pipes )

I use the following Metal Polish/Sealant Combo as it works to keep the exhaust looking cleaner for longer a bit pricey but you only need a small amount so will last for a while:

Britemax EASY CUT Metal Cleaner & Polish and Britemax FINAL SHINE Metal Polish & Sealant

    Here is a finished picture:

I've only ever used wire wool, but on shiny new tail pipes that may be a bit brutal!

Mine were filthy, probably never been cleaned. I bought Autosol but it didn't do a great job. I even tried a brillo pad but they still look tarnished. In hindsight I would have gone for the Britemax EASY CUT.
