licence plate light loose

Ive just noticed that one of the licence plate lights is moving around and both screws are turning without gaining any grip.
Anybody else had this problem?Is it a quick fix, does the bumper have to come off? The bulb is still working and its not hanging outside of its housing on the bumper
Maybe a clip or similar has given up

The two screw's only hold the lens on to the assembly, the complete light assembly is a push fit into the bumper and comes out at the right hand side (first) of the assembly (looking at the back of the car) using a flat screw driver to ease the spring catch/clip.

I was in your neck of the woods a couple of weeks ago on the way to Grantown on Spey/Inverness/Loch Ness(no sign of Nessie). I enjoyed the trip once I got off the motorway and onto the A9 A most enjoyable road at 60mph

Update: Plastic clip snapped on light assembly. New one from dealer for £6. Fitted and back to normal First thing to go wrong in 27 months
