Audi 80 paint restoration by gleam.

Hi guys, not posted on there foe ages as i have been real busy detailing loads of nice marques. AA friend of mine asked if i could do any thing with his tried looking red paint on this Audi 80 avant



So i got busy, firstly washing and Zymol klay-bar treatment



Machined using a light cut menzarna, constantly washing the mop head to remove contamination.



After machining was complete i cleaned the panel with Zymol HD-Cleanse this insures the wax will bond to the paintwork .



Then i applied the Zymol rouge wax, this has a red dye and also as with all zymol waxes as a real good U.V. protection



Finally a coat of Zymol field glaze to lift any traces of left over wax.



My mate is over the moon with the results so far, its still work in progress and i will post the final pictures later in the week.

Its not finished yet still got roof and nearside to complete. The pictures where taken over to evenings, its taken around 6 hours to do the bonnet off side and tailgate.
