    Hi
I have a 2000 polo 1.4 tdi that has a steering rack problem, when turning left or right it seems you have to overcome an initial tightness before it power steers, this is also accompanied by a "clonk" that can be felt through the steering wheel. My question is, is there enough room to change the rack without moving the engine? Also can anyone recommend where to go for a recon rack for this car.
    Thanks.
