    Hi there.

How do you get the rear camshaft rubber cover off a 2.5 tdi afb engine, I want to do the timing. Dose it screw off, I have taken off all pipework around it for access, but it still wont budge!!!

Dealer does dammage the cover... If you have a new one its ok but i do slacken the 2x11mm nuts that hold the end bearing then i pry it off with a csrewdriver. Smear a bit of grease on the cap prior re-fittinng then tighten the bearing sensibly. You will need to slacken all 10mm nuts holding the rocker cover as well to give enough room to lever the cover.
