    Hi All,

    Just need some help really.

I have a 2002 A4 1.8T Quattro. Whilst driving down the motorway today, the car started misfiring at high speed and the engine warning light flashed yellow a few times and then went off again.

Does anyone know what may be causing this?

    Thanks

Failing coil pack, get a fault code read it will tell you which pack is misfiring.

    OK,

Do you know how much coil packs cost? And also, how many coil packs does the car have?

Well I replcaed the coil packs on Saturday and the Engine Management Light stayed on but the car was running fine. I drove it for quite a while on Sunday and the light has gone off now so back to normal!
