    Hi guys

Picking up the above motor shortly but i'm trying to work out what BHP etc the car has. I realise the standard is 197bhp as per Golf GTi but as this is the special edition with black grille trim and leather etc, am i right in thinking that it has slightly more than 197bhp. I also have seen the figures 211ps quoted.
Also what would you guys say the 0-60mph is. I've seen 7.3, 7.1 and 6.9?

    Any help would be great!!

Good choice of car and you should be pleased with it when you get it.

The Special Edition has 220 bhp and the saloon has a quoted time to 60 of 7.1s for the two wheel drive (non-quattro) version.

If its the Avant, then the time is 7.4.

    Have fun with it!

Cheers for the info, it felt good on the test drive, nice and smooth, yet rapid when needed. Where would you look on the web for all these facts and figures etc

They don't do the cab' with 220ps either, just the 200ps (197) not that it makes that much difference.

Imo, fwd is more than enough for the std 200ps. If you havn't driven one, try it out, you might be pleasantly surprised how good it is.
