turbo sounds like a police siren!!!!

hi everyone i could do with some help on this,as the title suggests my turbo is sounding like a police siren.this only happens around town in 1st and 2nd gears. when the engine has warmed up. its driving me up the wall. the car is a 56 plate 1.9tdi 36000 miles, 105ps, engine code bxe. should i be taking my car back to vw yet again.?

My 2.0TDI does this. I just assumed it was normal. It does catch you out though. Wouldn't be the first time I'm frantically looking in the mirrors for an emergency vehicle.

no not that bad yet cars in at vw friday,i spoke to the mechanic he seems to think that the splines/veins are bent or out of balance either way i think they are putting a new one on glad ive still got warranty

most of them do after time.. Been told its the exhaust carbon on the blades on the turbo. Not much u can do its fine tho ..

My 2.0 tdi is doing this, ive been to a specialist and they reckon there is a leak in a pipe going into the intercooler. Also there is loose pipes going accross the top of the engine. Its in at the end of the month i shall check back in after then and let you know if it worked.
