front fog lights

I have a 1.8t sport, there are both front and rear fog light switches on the dash but it hasn't got fog lights in the bumper.
should it have front fogs?
The bumper has been painted and sticks out at the wings, it might a replacement bumper and they haven't fitted them.

Hi Littlejim..
The front fogs are in the headlight cluster, if you try it out in the dark you should see them light up the edges of the road.. I think the SE, Quattro and sport models all use this light cluster.. Sometimes you see an A4 with lights in the bumper, I think these are 'driving lamps' and separate to the fog lights as far as i know..
