2006 transporter Stiff gear change

hi my 2006 transporter 2.5 tdi 130 6 speed manual that has about 95K on the clock 1st and reverse gear have become stiff what can cause this is it the linkeges or dose the gearbox oil need to be changed any help would be appreciated

I had a stiff gearchange on my T4 which turned out to be from using the wrong gear oil. I just assumed it needed standard EP90 but in the end it needed a special synthetic oil. Just a thought.

i have nerver changed the oil in gearbox some times 1st and reverse are stiff and reverse has got stck once have been told may be selector but could the linkages need changing
