I have an 86 audi 4000S I picked up ... I cant be sure, but I think the fuel lines are not on the fuel distributor in the wrong positions ... does not want to idle, does not want to rev ... timing belt was done and lined up correctly ...

it is the bosch fuel distributor (cis?) numbers 0 438 101 005

Anyone have any ideas? I cant find any information on the web at all ... I need to verify what position each line should be at and to what cylinder it should go ... if they are correct, then is there some sort of jumper I need to have in order to set the timing appropriately?

    any help is GREATLY appreciated.

it shouldnt matter whats going where, as the injectors continuously spray fuel,so i dont think this is your problem.
