Right away I'm going to tell you I do have the knowledge on this subject. Every car is different in witch why I'm posting this.

I just got (a week a go) a 97 ATX 1.8t. It has 72000mi on it and the CEL was on. Auto zone pulled code p1136 saying it was some thing in the intake. So the first thing I do is made a CAI for it. The stock one did have a big *** rip right where the clamp gos on the inlet of the turbo. I took the neg off the batt to clear the codes but it would still come on. Your going to look down on me for this but i had a B type-s BOV laying around and put it on between the TB and IC. I took the VAC source from the stock DV and put it on the BOV. The reason I left the stock DV on is it should not be working as theres no vac to open it. The BOV is not being recirculated and is working (whoosh) lol. Next thing I did is put a boost gauge on. There should of been one there stock but Audi thought a clock would be better . So today I went to lunch the CEL was on and pushing only 5-6 PSI. Its stable PSI no jumping. Vac is at 17-19. On my way home the CEL went off and staid off. Still pushing 5-6 PSI but now when i get to the stop light the engine (motor) bogs down to about 4-500 RPM acts like its going to die but then jumps back up and idles fine. Now the only reason i think this would happen is I dont have the BOV recirculating back to the intake or the BOV is not closeing fast enough (weak spring). Why I'm only pushing 5 psi is beyond me. What do u guys think is up with this. Sorry for the long post.
